NICOLE CHALMERS COLANTONI

Nicole Chalmers Colantoni grew up in Essex, Vermont. She attended Essex High School and went on to major in English and Secondary Education at Saint Michael's College. She taught English for eight years at South Burlington High School, where she also coached basketball and continued to coach track and field for another four years.  She learned to further develop her love of writing while becoming a stay-at-home mother to her son and daughter.  She is now a head girl's basketball coach in Milton where her and her husband reside. They enjoy boating, outdoor activities and spending time with their family.  

 

She published her first book of poetry in December 2013 and is now focusing on children's books. The first book became available during the summer of 2014, and a follow-up is due fall 2016.
